Executive Assistant to Partner-trio

Soulful Ventures is looking for a Vietnamese based local who is proficient in English to work alongside our partners to establish and grow our presence here. 

 

To Excel, the candidate must be: 

​

  • Proficient in Spoken and Written English; 

  • Possessing a strong command of Vietnamese; 

  • Personable, passionate, self-motivated, inquisitive, intuitive and eager to broaden one's mindset;

  • Comfortable working a myriad of tasks that vary across different scopes and spectrums; 

  • Able to move around HCMC regularly and occasionally travel within Vietnam; 

  • Capable to work independently while juggling cordial, influential relationships with partners, team members and external vendors; 

  • Sharp in insight and critical analysis but with a personable approach;

  • Think creatively to envision, develop and pursue answers that Google or ChatGPT may be unable to provide

Necessary Qualifications:

​

  • Vietnamese national based in Ho Chi Minh City, or a foreigner with valid working visa 

  • College/University educated, or be qualified for admission into College/University- a Degree is desirable but not necessary 

​

Beneficial Attributes:

 

  • Strong sense of aesthetics with technical capabilities to implement work in Adobe Suite, or have an eye for Photography, Interior Deco or Fashion & Lifestyle trends;

  • Experience in website design and simple coding; 

  • Degree in [Vietnamese] Law is a major plus; 

  • Ability to understand financial statements and concepts and/or possess bookkeeping knowledge;

  • Lived, worked or studied abroad for any duration of time;

Sous Chef & Pastry Sous Chef

Saigon’s soon-to-launch Fine Dining restaurant specializing in Contemporary French cuisine with an Asian flare is looking for Senior Chefs to helm its pioneering team of unrivalled talents. 


Under the nurturing guidance of our Executive Chef who refined his training and skills in a number of Michelin Three-star establishments in Singapore and France prior to setting foot in Saigon, we are looking to groom a SOUS CHEF and PASTRY SOUS CHEF

​

Your growth and scope of excellence include: 
•    Assisting in the development of seasonal menus and original recipes;
•    Training, Mentorship & Management of Kitchen Brigade team;
•    Creating, Fostering and Maintaining a positive, productive working environment;
•    Taking charge of Purchasing;
•    Second-in-command in overseeing daily kitchen operations;
•    Ensuring quality control of dishes and ingredients;
•    Manage administration and inventory of the Kitchen;
•    Upholding the highest level of cleanliness in line with the latest health, hygiene and safety standards 


The ideal candidate should be:
•    Experienced in Western Fine Dining Kitchens and knowledge + networks of local markets 
•    Significantly experienced in similar roles as part of the Kitchen Management Team 
•    Able to communicate with Executive Chef in English; Be proficient in delegating duties in Vietnamese
•    Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel 
•    Well Disciplined and Firm, yet personable with the ability to command the respect and following of your Kitchen Brigade 
•    Knowledgeable of Kitchen Hygiene practices and Health Safety protocols + Restaurant Operational laws and regulations
